These documents consist of letters from state officials to Governor Augustus E. Willson requesting leaves of absence. There are many letters from the State Treasurer, Ed Farley, designating the Assistant Treasurer, H. E. James as his replacement while on leave. There are also telegrams from the governor notifying officials when he had crossed state lines.
